To be included if the one-minute RVR values during the 10-minute period immediately preceding the observation vary from the mean value more than 50 rn or more than 20 per cent whichever is greater the one-minute mean minimum and the one-minute mean maximum values are reported instead of the 10-minute mean value 8. To be included if the RVR values during the lil-minute period preceding the observation have shown a distinct tendency such that the mean RVR durlng the first 5 minutes varies by 100 m cr more from the mean during the second 5 minutes of the period.
