The intensity I for any runway visual range is that at the point on this line at which A is given by tan A 22.5/RVRS see Figure 5. Examples of points are sham for runway visual range 200, 400, 800 and 1 600 m. Corresponding points for a 10 m eye level high cockpit aircraft are marked on the broken line. For runway visual range computations, all intensities to be reduced by 20 per cent to allow for aging and contamination of lights, and also by an appropriate amount for intensity levels, below 100 per cent, that may be set by the tower for the whole system.
