The 41st Session of the Assembly, held from 27 September to 7 October 2022, adopted Resolution A41-5 commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Legal Committee, emphasizing the essential role that the Committee has played in the development and codification of international air law and reiterating the need for it to continue to take a leadership role in studying new and emerging issues affecting air law, to promote the development and codification of international air law and thereby to strengthen the legal framework governing international civil aviation for the benefit of all nations and peoples of the world.
