SUPPLEMENT TO ANNEX 6 - THIRD EDITION LIST OF CONTRACTING STATES WHICH HAVE NOTIFIED ICAO -- THAT NO DIFFERENCES WILL EXIST BETWEEN THEIR NATIONAIt REGULATIONS AND PRACTICES AND THE INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS OF ANNEX 6 ARGENTINA AUSTRIA DENMARK SWEDEN
4 SUPPLEMENT TO ANNEX 6 - THIRD EDITION - SUMMARY OF DIFFERENCES NOTE The differences listed hereunder consist of differences previously published in the Supplement to the second edition of Annex 6, revised and brought up to date and augmented by differences from amendments 128 to 131 inclusive, notified to ICAO prior' ta 1 December 1952. AUSTRALIA The Australian regulation is different in character. Aero- drome meteorologial minima may be determined by the Director General and notified in Air Navigation Orders. See Air Navigation Regulation 248 Foreign operators must comply. The Australian regulation is different in character. A non-schedu1e.d operator is not required to conduct period- ical flight tests of his pilots unless the Director General considers the nature of the operations and the type of aircraft employed warrant it. However, Examiners of Airmen of the Department do conduct flight tests with pilots who are employed on non-scheduled operators on aircraft over 12, 500 lbs, gross weight approximately once evary twelve months. It is the intention to introduce the provisions of paragraph 4.2.7.2 of Annex 6 at an early date. The holder of an instrument rating is required to undergo a rerating test once every 12 months or at such other times as the Director General considers necessary, see .- Air Navigation Regulation 65. Foreign operators are subjeat to the required tests. The Australian regulation is different in character. The State has established flight time limitations which have been promulgated in Air Navigation R-egulation 63, Foreign operators must uomply.
