ICAO Circular 20-AN/17 3 The information contained in this circular concerns a proposed method of identifying LF'/Ma Elon-Directional Radio Beacons and LF/ Radio Broadcasting Stations by utilising frequency modulation F techniques for conveying the identity in such a manner that certain difficulties experienced with existing A1 and AA methods of identification are eliminated. The material was submitted to the Fourth Session of the Coications Division of ICAO bg the Government of France. The Division recommended tbat the material should be disseminated to States for their information and for the purpose of encouraging an operational evaluation of the proposed method 04 identification.
