vi Manual on the Aeronautical Mobile Satellite Route Service Part III Inmarsat and MTSAT Classic Aero Part III provides a technical overview and guidance material to ICAO Member States and the international civil aviation community on the Classic Aero aviation satellite system as operated globally by Inmarsat and regionally by the Japanese Civil Aviation Authority JCAB which provides AMSRS communications. Part IV Inmarsat SwiftBroadband SBB Part IV deals with the SwiftBroadband Satellite SBB system operated by Inmarsat. A general overview is given and technical specifications are provided by reference. This is followed by a compliance matrix showing conformance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices SARPs and then general guidance on the use of the system, for ANSP and aircraft operators.
